Vault by Vans partnered with Los Angeles-based fashion label Goodfight for a collection epitomized by a time where individuals “grow up” and form their discovered family. Inspired by Eastern culture prep school uniforms and classic American West Coast fashion staples, the collection reflects the brand’s multifaceted identity coupled with nostalgia.
The Vault by Vans x Goodfight T-Shirt was inspired by the horticultural motifs of the collection. Hand-drawn orchid blossoms perch on top of the double-brand logo, while the back illustration reimagines a school greenhouse. The greyhound moping in the foreground is “Isabel,” two of the Goodfight founders’ dog and resident office pet in their LA studio. For Goodfight, the orchid is a vital reminder for two of our founding principles: one, that we are all unique, special, and strange, and two, that our individual beauty is meant not to divide us but to lead us to our true source of power: each other.
