Vans Unveils Off The Wall Pride Gallery Collection

A collection of styles by global artists that celebrates self-expression

Pride month brings visibility to the inequities and inequalities that the LGBTQ+ community is continually fighting for, and Vans has teamed up with incredible artists to showcase the creative voices influencing social change and encouraging acceptance in communities around the world.

A celebration of love in all its various forms, this month’s OTW Gallery features the art of Milan, Italy-based photographer Sara Lorusso on the Classic Slip-On. Covered in names and a kiss print from friends and associates and “LOVE CAN SAVE US” written on the sidewall, Lorusso’s photography is prominently displayed on the Slip-On’s footbed insole.

The Authentic™ comes to life in two separate colorways featuring the art of Hong-Kong artist Kaitlin Chan and Los Angeles-based Ashley Lukashevsky. Chan’s Authentic design features the words “Chosen Family,” a phrase used in the LGBTQ+ community referring to the family one chooses as a support network. She also incorporates traditional Chinese imagery and design elements as a nod to the Queer Chinese community who has embraced her since coming out.

Lukashevsky’s design utilizes a mixture of print and various embroidery techniques on a clean white upper that speak to her sexuality and cultural identity.

An assortment of short sleeve tees feature artwork and photography from Lorusso and Lukashevsky with inspirational messages like “Angels Have No Gender” and “Love Can Save Us.”

The Vans OTW Pride Gallery is now available at select Vans retail locations and at Vans.com. For more information, please visit Vans.com.
